Position Summary: 

Supports St. Luke’s Hospital, St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital and St. Luke’s Medical Group regarding capital purchases, leases, and service / maintenance agreements, including contractual obligations and supplier relationshipsSupports St. Luke’s Network regarding purchasing initiatives, including cost management, standardization and utilization analyses and evaluations.  Supports St. Luke’s Network regarding acquisition or divestiture of equipment, furniture, supplies, etc. for new, relocated or closed departments, physician practices, Urgent Care Centers, etc.  Communicates and coordinates research, analyses and evaluations with appropriate Hospital and Medical Group personnelResponsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.  

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Knowledge of contemporary business and purchasing practices acquired through graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in business, management or administration, but experience may be accepted in lieu of degree 

Experience: 10+ years of Healthcare Supply Chain experience required
