Position Summary: 

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, Assistant Director of Pharmacy and in conjunction with the Medical Staff, the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for providing excellent pharmacotherapy to patients and providing pharmacy information to medical staff, medical residents, pharmacy staff, and nursing staff. Responsibilities include reviewing and monitoring physician orders, patient medication profiles, and Power chart with emphasis on pharmaceutical care duties, documentation, and Patient Safety. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. 

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy degree  

Licensure: Current license as a Registered Pharmacist by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy
