Position Summary:

Performs the primary functions of a Recreational Therapist in assessing, planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating a designated group of patients in accordance with established Care Standards, Hospital and Departmental Policies. Responsible for managing all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements: 

Education: Bachelor Degree, Graduate of an accredited Therapeutic Recreation/Music/Therapy/Art Therapy Expressive Arts Therapy/Rehabilitation Therapy or related field

Licensure: Missouri Chauffeur’s License (Minimum Class E or above) is preferred.
