Position Summary:

The Assistant Nurse Manager assists with, facilitates, and communicates the patient’s plan of care to members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.  Also assists with human resource management activities, such as staff scheduling, staff development, and performance monitoring.  Is accountable for management of the division on a 24-hour basis.  Functions as manager in the absence of the Nurse Manager. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements: 

Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.

Experience: Previous nursing experience

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
