Position Summary: 

Assures safe, efficient and quality operation and workflow through supervision, guidance and support of the staff. Responsible for leading and motivating those who support the clinical areas of the laboratory in producing quality data such as pathology reports and in dealing with customer issues in the spirit of corporate values. Responsible for handling operations in support area specialty under the direction of the sections manager, director of laboratory and/or medical director. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. 

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred 

Experience: Prefer three to five years' experience in clinical laboratory areas. Prefer one to three years supervisor/management experience in healthcare or customer service-related field 

  

Licensure: MT (ASCP), MLT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred.
