Position Summary: 

Under the supervision of the Director and Department Supervisor, the Certified Athletic Trainer organizes and performs athletic trainer services for St. Luke's Hospital and manages athletic care of high school students. Also, participates in educational duties inherent to the position. Organizes and performs medically prescribed programs. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. 

  • Work in partnership with the Northwest School District

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: Bachelor's Degree with specialization in athletic training.   

Experience: 1-2 years experience in health care field, with at least one year experience as a certified athletic trainer.  

Licensure: Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts. Certification through the National Athletic Trainer's Association is preferred. Must be certified in CPR
