Position Summary:
The Continuity of Operations and Emergency Management Planner is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining continuity of operations plans and emergency management procedures to ensure the organization can effectively respond to and recover from disruptive incidents. The planner will collaborate with various departments, contractors and leadership to assess risks, conduct training and exercises, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission and relevant regulations and best practices. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, Public Administration, Business Continuity, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in emergency management, business continuity planning, or a related area.
