Position Summary: 

Assistant Manager for Cardiovascular Services overseeing quality data and outcomesResponsible for managing timely, accurate, and complete data entry into appropriate registries that may include the STS Adult Cardiac registry and NCDR’s CathPCI, ICD and LAAO registries. Responsible for developing methods to analyze and report data and using that information to drive performance improvement initiatives that impact care to our patientsServes as quality manager for the Cleveland Clinic alliance. Responsible for meeting the standards set by this alliance. Act as a liaison between the Cleveland Clinic Alliance program staff and St. Luke’s physicians, care providers, and hospital leadership to bring their expertise to our patients. 

  

Time Critical Diagnosis program coordination.  Serves as the STEMI Program Manager.  Responsible for enhancing the quality of care delivered to Acute Myocardial Infarction/STEMI patients by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care within the evidenced-based guidelines of the nursing standards of care. Assist with development of acute MI standards of care, policies and procedures that promote an organized and efficient STEMI Program. Oversee the Quality initiatives of cardiac services. 

 Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.  

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing  

Experience: Cardiac nursing experience required, cardiac cath lab experience preferred.

 

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
