CARDIOLOGY CLINICAL DECISION SUPPORT COORDINATOR- CARDIOLOGY

Position Summary: 

Performs the primary function of a Registered Nurse assessing, planning, implementing, educating and evaluating a designated group of patients in accordance with all established Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies. Responsible for managing all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Requirements: Requires strong knowledge of cardiovascular and structural heart disease, position will focus on coordinating care with applicable teams.  Establishes and maintains a strong relationship with referring physicians, interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and CardioCare consulting team, excellent interpersonal and communication skills at patient and physician level.  Competency in data literacy required, including manipulating, extracting, and query data.  Computer skills with intermediate Excel knowledge.  RN with strong cardiac experience.   2-5 years of cardiac experience required. 

Education: Nursing Degree    

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Missouri.
