Position Summary:
The Logistics Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Mail Services, SCM Receiving Shipping & Receiving, and SCM Transportation Departments. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values. This position is a non-licensed/certified staff member authorized to transport and/or stock medications to meet specified essential job duties. This includes staff who do not have the authority to prescribe, dispense and/or administer medications. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master degree in field of expertise or related or clinical areas preferred.
Experience: 2 years of position related experience required; 2 years of supervisory experience required. Knowledge of Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) required. Knowledge of McKesson Supply Chain Management/Pathways Materials Management (SCM/PMM) System preferred. Knowledge of McKesson Strategic Supply Sourcing (MSSS) System preferred. Knowledge of automated supply chain systems preferred.
