Position Summary: 

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for administration and reconciliation of requests for supplies from the Surgical Services, Cardio Vascular Operating Room, PACU and Same Day Surgery Departments (“Surgical Departments”), via manual processes and/or the Materials Management Information System (MMIS).  This position will be the Surgery Departments’ Point of Contact for Supply Requests via requisition, phone, email or in person, and analysis of Supply activity and Par Templates.  This position will also be the Surgical Departments’ Point of Contact for Loaning and Borrowing of supplies from other facilities, as needed. The Inventory Supervisor – SCM Surgical Services will provide supervision to the Supply Chain Techs staff in SCM Surgical Services to include: daily assignments, scheduling requests, Kronos, and Conference Reports and Evaluations.  Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.  

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: High School Diploma/ GED required.  

Experience: Experience in inventory and materials management required. Knowledge of MMIS preferred. McKesson Supply Chain Management preferred
