Position Summary:
As an Occupational Health Manager, you will be responsible for daily oversight of practices including Workplace Health Clinic on the Chesterfield campus as well as onsite employer clinics and occupational episodic events at companies. Manage and oversee vaccine clinics at the Chesterfield and Des Peres campus. Ensure necessary staff, supplies, and equipment are available to meet practice needs. Analyzes practice operations, problem-solves, recommends, and implements improvements. Compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies. Attends required manager meetings and conducts regular practice meetings for physicians and staff. In collaboration with the Director, develops and implements ideas for practice improvement. Maintain clinic operations and TJC requirements as well as employee health requests for state and TJC requirements. Maintains and applies age specific knowledge relevant to the care of the patient population served. Random Selection – manages random selection pools for employers served to meet FMCSA, DOT, SMHSA requirements. Acts as expert in multiple software systems utilized (Cerner, Escreen and Systoc) and acts as resource to providers and team members. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in clinical, business, or health related field required, or comparable experience
Experience: 5 years of lead, supervisory, or management experience is required, with at least two of those years in Occupational Health or in a medical clinic.
