Position Summary:
Performs the primary functions of a Registered Professional Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in the Obstetrical Room during obstetrical-surgical procedures. In cooperation with and under the direction of a surgeon, performs duties of a circulating nurse, surgical assistant and/or scrub nurse. Is responsible for adhering to all established Hospital Policies and Nursing Standards. Is accountable for managing job-related supplies and equipment. Is responsible for promoting teamwork among the healthcare team. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Nursing Degree required
Experience:Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri required.
Licensure: Completion of approved RNFA course, or two years of experience a Labor and Delivery RN required.
