Position Summary:
The Administrative Director of Facilities Planning, Design, and Support Services is responsible for overseeing all facility-related functions at St. Luke’s Hospital and its nearly 30 outpatient locations in the greater St. Louis area. This role leads both capital and non-capital projects — such as major new construction and renovations — by coordinating with executive leadership and third-party design teams. This role also oversees core support services for St. Luke’s Hospital including facilities management, housekeeping, food services, safety and security, and clinical engineering. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, architecture, business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in facility planning, design, construction, engineering, or building operations. Previous leadership in a healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
Licensure: American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) certification desired or attained within one (1) year of hire.
