Position Summary:
The Community Benefit Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, tracking, and reporting community benefit activities in alignment with the hospital’s mission and Federal requirements. This role ensures that community health initiatives address local health needs, improve population health outcomes, and maintain regulatory compliance. The Coordinator collaborates with internal departments, local public health agencies, and community partners to assess needs, develop programs, and evaluate outcomes. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Community Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in community health, nonprofit management, or healthcare coordination. Experience with CHNA/Implementation Strategy processes and community benefit reporting is strongly preferred.
