Position Summary: 

Under the supervision of the Director, Clinical Performance Improvement, performs clinical data analysis using claims data, risk-adjusted outcomes data and medical records data to support and guide the organizations’ clinical performance improvement and population health activities. Monitors the organization’s clinical outcomes performance related to local and national benchmarks as well as quality reporting. Develops methodologies for utilizing “big data” to support accountable care activities and to demonstrate value and quality of clinical services. Serves as an internal consultant for continuous improvement using data to identify areas of opportunity, to develop strategies to address these opportunities and to measure success of improvement strategies. Prepares outcome dashboards for ACOs, quality committees and performance improvement teams.

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field.

Experience: 2 years' experience in a hospital or similar healthcare environment.
