Position Summary:  

Supervises the planning, coordination and delivery of orientation, staff development, inservice education, continuing education and health education.  Participates in programs and committees that maintain and improve the quality of health care.  Management, coordination and support for staff educational offerings, including training for computer clinical applications. Responsible for the development and coordination of patient education materials.  Responsible for the in-patient education services and the daily operations of the Diabetes Education department.  Coordinates the clinical rotation requests from the Schools of Nursing.  Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.

  

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:    

Education: Master’s degree in health care field or management required.

Experience: Five years experience in education and training in health care field as well as 5 years of strong clinical experience.

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
