Position Summary: 

This position is a non-licensed/certified staff member authorized to transport and/or stock medications to meet specified essential job dutiesThis includes staff who do not have the authority to prescribe, dispense and/or administer medications. Under the direction and supervision of the RN, the Secretary is responsible for the organization and daily operational support of the patient care unit and for performing clerical and receptionist duties, including requisitioning supplies, equipment and service from other departments. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. 

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: High School diploma or equivalency required.
