Position Summary:
Assist with the operational directions and the necessary support and logistics such as human resources, space, and equipment information technology. Presents plans to hospital and other institutional leadership for approval. Upkeeps data repositories needed for daily operational oversight and monitoring (spreadsheets and database). In partnership with Executive Director of Cancer Center, coordinates the activities of the Center and provides leadership to the long-term and short-term operational needs of those who work in the Center. Identify important trends or changes in the related fields of patient care and education and process workflows in the clinic and hospital to improve patient care. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Required bachelor’s degree in science, business, Hospital Administration or related healthcare of business field. Preferred master’s degree in science, business, Hospital Administration or related healthcare or business field may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience.
Experience: Required 3-5 years oncology experience, Preferred 2 years management/ leadership.
Licensure: Preferred Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri State Board of Nursing
