Position Summary:
Hospital Facility Biller including reviewing claims in our scrubber software for accuracy, attaching supporting documentation per insurance requirements and resolving claim edits. Timely and accurate resolution of assigned claims in accordance to department policies and procedures. Professional written communication through system notes, appeal forms and emails. Follow up as needed with hospital department to ensure claims are transmitted in a timely manner. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. Hybrid work schedule considered after training is complete.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Associate degree or 2 years relevant experience
