Position Summary: 

The Same Day Surgery (SDS), Pre Anesthesia testing and PACU Manager is responsible for the daily operational, clinical, and administrative leadership of the Same Day Surgery and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit departments. This role ensures safe, high‑quality patient care, efficient patient flow, regulatory compliance, and effective staff management. The manager collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perioperative leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.  

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing required  

Experience: 2 years of nursing leadership required

 

License: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri.
