Position Summary: 

The RN-Utilization Manager is responsible for all activities associated with utilization review. The RN – Utilization Manager is responsible for the receipt of high-quality, cost-efficient medical outcomes for those patients identified as having the need for inpatient and/or outpatient insurance notification and authorization of hospital stays. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. 

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: BSN Degree 

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri 

Experience: Three years of hospital-based clinical experience or managed care experience preferred
