Position Summary:
The Quality Coordinator serves as the primary contact for patient experience activities and supports medical group quality and performance improvement initiatives. This role works in close coordination with and under the supervision of the Medical Group Quality Manager to implement strategies that enhance the patient experience and advance quality and performance improvement goals across the medical group. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field. Associate's degree plus 3 years of relevant healthcare experience, or 5 years of relevant healthcare experience without a degree, will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree. Clinical backgrounds such as Medical Assistant or LPN with ambulatory/clinic experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience: Experience in patient experience, quality improvement, service excellence, or a clinical role with exposure to these areas preferred. Familiarity with patient satisfaction measurement systems (Press Ganey) a plus. Understanding of healthcare operations and physician practice environments, particularly ambulatory or medical group settings. Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and patient rights.
